Use your voice to STOP the unrealistic and offensive portrayals of men and women today in the media through the Media Watchdog Program(www.nationaleatingdisorders.org) or About Face (www.about-face.org) They have to listen if enough people speak!
Let them know it is not ok to create and instill false images upon anyone!
Encourage and celebrate self-acceptance, individuality, and body awareness in all body sizes. It's what's on the inside that counts.
Believe it! Live it! Define your life by what brings you passion, not by what number is on a scale or reflection in a mirror.
Passion is real. Find yours and discover others!
Become an activist to help those suffering who have lost their voice to eating disorders.
Bring awareness of the danger to those who are thinking of trying an eating disorder as a means of fitting in.
Always, always affirm your life and your own self!
You know yourself best.
You will always have the first voice along your journey.
